Key Dates

Submission Deadline: February 12, 2018

Selection & Notification: February 27, 2018

We have specific standards to ensure each Ignite presentation is interesting, valuable and relevant to our conference participants. Each submission will be carefully considered by our review board. All submissions must be received by or on Monday, February 12, 2018. Please note that the call for papers will close early if we receive a sufficient number of quality submissions before the due date. Speaking sessions are 50 minutes long.

  1. We strongly encourage and will prioritize submissions that highlight real war stories, new threat research, technical best practices, etc. We will also prioritize submissions that include supporting white papers.
  2. Call for Papers submissions must be made by the actual presenter. We will not accept submissions from PR firms or speaker representatives on behalf of a potential speaker or speaking team, or similar third parties.
  3. Ignite does not accept product or vendor-related pitches. All presentations need to be educational in nature.
  4. You may submit more than one proposal, but must submit each proposal via a separate submission form.
  5. We will send an email acknowledgement to individuals submitting a proposal, generally within 48 hours of our receipt of the submission. After we have made selection decisions, we will send submitters an email confirmation of acceptance or rejection.
  6. We may contact you with any questions about your presentation.
  7. If your paper is accepted, you can continue to modify it up until the final presentation due date, at which time it will be locked.
  8. If your paper contains sensitive data and you are concerned about sharing certain information, please email us at: to discuss.

Detailed Write-Up of Presentation

A detailed write-up of your presentation beyond the abstract, in either Microsoft® Word or Adobe® PDF format, is optional but can increase your chances of being accepted as a speaker. The presentation slides in Microsoft PowerPoint® format are also not required, but you may submit them if they are readily available at the time of submission.
